Careers: What we are looking for
We are looking for people with strong foundations in:
- Java (modern JVM, performance-oriented development)
- Algorithms & optimization (heuristics, metaheuristics, constraint handling, search strategies)
- Applied mathematics / informatics / physics
- AI and learning-based approaches (e.g., reinforcement learning, hybrid methods, analysis layers)
Ideal background
- Master’s or PhD level (or equivalent industry experience) in:
- Computer Science / Informatics
- Mathematics
- Physics
- or related disciplines
What you can expect
- Real customer-driven problems (logistics, field service, scheduling, planning)
- Deep engineering topics (performance, correctness, architecture)
- Space for research-driven ideas that can become production features
Partners: Redistribute and deliver JOpt solutions
We also work with partners who want to:
- redistribute JOpt as part of their product or solution portfolio,
- deliver customer projects with JOpt at the core,
- build vertical applications on top of the JOpt platform.
